Honey-Glazed Crispy Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 cups breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
- Oil for frying

For the Honey Glaze:
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil (optional)
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Directions:
Begin by preparing the honey glaze.
  • In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Heat over low heat until warmed through and well combined. Set aside.
  • In a shallow bowl, mix together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. In another bowl, place the beaten eggs. In a third bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
  • Dip each piece of chicken first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  • In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken nuggets in batches, frying until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Once all the nuggets are cooked, drizzle the honey glaze over them while they are still warm, tossing gently to coat.
Serve immediately and enjoy the sweet and savory flavors of these crispy chicken nuggets!
