One Pot Creamy Beef & Shells
Ingredients:
1 lb Lean ground beef
1 box Medium pasta shells (16 oz)
2 cups Beef broth
1 can Tomato sauce (15 oz)
1 cup Heavy whipping cream
2 cups Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1/2 onion, diced (optional)
How To Make It:
Brown your ground beef (and onion if using) in a large deep skillet or pot over medium-high heat. Drain the grease if necessary.
Pour in the beef broth, tomato sauce, cream, Italian seasoning, and the raw uncooked pasta shells. Stir it all together nicely.
Bring the liquid to a boil, then cover the pot with a lid and reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
This is a lifesaver on busy weeknights because you don't even have to boil the pasta separately! I like to serve this with some garlic bread to soak up the sauce. It tastes just like a homemade hamburger helper but way better.
