Size 3mm needles. cast on 34sts, k in rnds, rnd 1- k,...rnd 2- knit 23sts , turn , p 12sts, just work on these 12 sts, (k row, p row) 8 times,....next k2tog, k across, next p2tog p across, rep last 2 rnds until 8sts on needle, k one rnd,...pick up and k 11sts on left side of instep , k 11sts off next needle, now your at the heel,..p 11sts, pick up and p 11sts on right side of instep, p 8 across toe , p next 22sts, (52sts),,.......next rnd- knit 17sts, the next 5 sts put on the needle with the 8 sts for toe and k the 13sts, next knit off 5sts of next needle and put on toe needle (18sts), next k 17sts,...next rnd p, k row, p row continue until 5 ridges, ending in p rnd,...SOLE---rnd 1-k 26 pm, k26,...rnd2- dec 1st, k to last 2 sts before marker, dec 1st, dec 1st after marker, k to the last 2 sts , dec 1st. rnd3- k,...rnd 4- same as rnd 2, rnd 5- k,... rnd 6- same as rnd 2,..cast off, sew up sole-------HEAD--cast on 20sts, 5sts on 4 needles,.. k in rnds,..k 8 rnds , (next k2tog at beg. of each needle, k rnd) rep. until 2 sts on needles, cut yarn and run through loops, secure, weave end, stuff and run yarn around bottom and draw tight, secure, weave in end......use blk yarn and make 2 french knots for eyes, with orange yarn for BILL- cast on 1st,.. next... k1,p1,k1 all in one st,...p row, k row, p row, k row, p row, k row, p row, k row, kprow, k2tog k1,. p2tog , cut yarn leaving 12'' , sew to head.
